Here’s a quick tip – if you’re seriously into niche marketing, you should really visit the new Niche Marketing blog and the new niche category at the well-known and respected 5 Star Forums. Judging from the quality of the previous Linda’s (the owner) work, I’m sure that these new ventures will be very succesful and helpful to all niche marketers.

Keyword bookmarklet updated
If you've downloaded the keyword bookmarklet already to generate keyword and their bid prices, using Google keyword tool, please replace it with this one. Main improvements:
- Each keyword has a direct link to Google Trends and the free version of Wordtracker (immediately displaying results for this specific keyword)
- Table is sortable alphabetically and by keyword price. Be warned though that all sorting is done in javascript, client-side. In case of long lists, it may be necessary to increase the javascript time-out. If you're using Firefox, use these instructions.
More features are coming - I will keep you updated.
New arbitrage series and other news
It's a new year (all the best to all of you - I hope 2007 will be even better for you than 2006!) and I have a couple of announcements to make:
- We are introducing some tweaks to the general layout and navigation. For example, you can now use the Google-powered search (in the top-right corner), which is quite spiffy thanks to some Ajax magic. I've also removed Adsense from the main page.
- We have an alpha version of a new tool, which may be very helpful to people, who need to find a lot of high-quality affiliate programs fast. A separate announcement will be made in a few days, when we tackle some remaining bugs and add the last few features still missing.
I am also going to start a new series on Arbitrage - I know it is rather late, many people gained really lot of insight into this area in 2006, but I somehow always delayed my personal forays into this venture. Anyway, I will write several posts, documenting my attempts to break even or - preferably :-) - make some decent profits. The series will cover things I can handle pretty well - like keyword research, niche discovery etc., but also some things, which I intend to subject to some heavy testing, like page layout, Adsense and Adwords strategies etc.
I expect at least one post per day for the next several days, documenting my successes and failures with arbitrate. Hopefully, it will prove useful to some of you as well.
If you want to make sure that you don't miss anything valuable from this series, please subscribe to our feed - you can use a button on the left bar.

Back from holidays
Ok, so I've finally got home from my rather long holidays and managed to take care of the most urgent things, like bills piling up in my mail.
Before going on holidays I thought I could easily leave SEOproToolz almost unattended. After all, it's a pretty young website and until recently, it received almost no traffic. Therefore I thought nobody would notice my absence. Boy, was I wrong...
Apparently, my two little applications and the articles about discovering profitable niches were featured in several popular newsletters and linked from many websites. As a result, I was flooded with comments, traffic and newsletter signups. Something I could hardly manage remotely, with the exception of approving comments via my rather shaky GRPS connection while enjoying one of the hottest summers in my country ever.
Someone mentioned this site in a newsletter?
Update - well, I guess it happened again today - and again, I don't know the source - please help me, by leaving some comments ;-). Thanks!. According to my logs, someone must have mentioned this website in a newsletter, which brought me quite huge traffic. However, I have no idea, which newsletter it was. Could someone be so kind and leave a comment, mentioning the name of this newsletter? I would very much appreciate it, thanks!
Newsletter available
I've just added the newsletter feature. If you want to stay updated with all the tools that I am going to provide, plus all the articles and tutorials, it's really wise to subscribe. So you will not miss anything.
Some general rules:
- I will NEVER provide your email address to any other party. This rule will never change. I truly respect your privacy.
- You can unsubscribe at any time :-)
- I will never try to pitch to you all the latest tools, ebooks or anything else, if I've not had the opportunity to review them and verify their usefulness. I worked for almost 10 years, reviewing computer products for IDG, the largest computer publisher in the world, so I know, how to do it in an unbiased way.
