I am really glad to let you know that as a part of bring this blog back to live, my hosting provider managed to restore a corrupt mysql table and all previous comments (quite a lot of them!) are back now. This was a pretty important step to me, so I am glad it worked!

This blog has been very seriously neglected for the past year. Frankly, I was quite sure that I would never post here again.

However, to my surprise, I am still getting emails from people who enjoy some of the older content, and I still earn some coffee money from it.

The reason for my silence was that I was simply too busy with some rather larger projects that I started with several other people (which have nothing to do with the subject of this blog). However, now as these other projects matured a bit, I can again try to share an idea or two here.

My first immediate step is to upgrade the CMS that this blog is based on - it is now seriously outdate.

Actually, this blog has suffered from a serious database glitch which resulted in all previous comments being lost - quite a blow, given that some posts had 30-40 comments.
