### Google Suggest Scraper

Selling websites for fun and profit

I've recently come across a truly ingenious post on how to build an affiliate site that you can sell for $1M. I will not try to recap its content - there are too many valuable points and it's really worth reading in its entirety.

However, during reading it has struck me that I am really most focused on properly developing a website into a profitable business when I consider selling it eventually as my exit strategy.

It provides me with the energy and determination to make sure that all bases key for valuation are covered. And guess what, when they are covered, the profits usually grow fast, even if I don't sell it after all.

However, if you have a website that you think could have some tangible value for other people, what are your options when it comes to selling it?

Competitive analysis of any keyword list in less than 10 minutes

If you've been following this blog, you probably know that I like to develop some custom tools to help me with generating keywords or niche ideas.

As effective as they are, the one key component still missing is further analysis. It's very easy to generate hundreds or even thousands of promising keywords using these tools, but you really need an automated way to tell the really good ones from the probably less profitable ones.

Discover great domains on autopilot

If  you have something like 15 minutes to spare, you could use that time to find some really excellent domains to register. But please note that domain-hunting can get addictive. You've been warned... :-)

Scrape Google Suggest in one run

Here's an extremely simple tool that I developed to scrape keywords offered by the Google Suggest feature. What's cool about this tool is that it scrapes more than just the default 10 results.

The basic concept is that the script takes your root (seed) keyword and adds each letter of the alphabet, effectively generating suggestions starting with each of these letters. It means that within 1-2 seconds you can get over 200 related phrases for your root keyword.
