Euro 2012 for Poland and Ukraine!

Well, this is definitely offtopic for this blog, but as I live in Poland, I thought I would share this news with the world. Poland and Ukraine have been officially announced organizers of the Euro 2012! This is a very exciting news for many football fans in these countries.

BTW, I've already registered a domain for Euro 2012-related blog. After all, we're all here niche marketers, aren't we?

Wordtracker - 1-day subscription plan dropped

I am not quite sure when exactly it happened, but it seems that Wordtracker has dropped its 1–day subscription plan.

This plan, in fact, offered you full three days of access to the Wordtracker database for as little as $8. It was great value for money – you could do very extensive research and save it for later use. Perhaps, this plan turned out to be too good, taking customers away from more profitable plans (weekly, monthly and yearly).

This may come as a rather unfortunate news for some because now, you have to shell out at least $27 to use this service. On the other hand, this may actually be beneficial to more business-oriented niche marketers. $27 is still a very little investment, but it should stop at least some people from competing against you for every possible term found in the Wordtracker database.

Never miss your important keywords again - a new free tool!

Today, I would like to offer you a very little but handy tool to make article writing a little bit easier.

The whole idea is that you can load a list of keywords / phrases and then use a simple shortcut in any editor to see the keywords from your list, which have still not been used in the text that you’re writing.

Just make sure that your keyword file has the *.txt extension and includes no more than one keyword / phrase per line.

After you run the program (no installation required), you will see a little icon in the taskbar, like this one: Ikonka.

Keyword Discovery - get top traffic driving keywords for free!

Keyword Discovery is one of the better known commercial keyword research services, but it also offers some great free resources.

Today, I am going to highlight one of them – a service, which shows you the top keywords driving traffic to individual sites in the DMOZ directory. The demo version is limited to just the top 10 keywords for each category, but you can dig deep into categories, so you can still get fairly specific keywords – a great start for further research using other tools.

SponsoredReviews.com - a bad case of customer service

ExclamDo you you think that over 2 weeks of waiting for any response is a case of bad customer service? Well, I think so and this is why I've decided to write this short piece, even though I generally try to avoid complaining.

On March 15, I registered at SponsoredReviews.com. If you haven't heard before - it's the latest entrant into the pay-per-post genre of services.

I've not done this to add additional revenue stream to this site. I just wanted to explore the service and report on it - after all, this blog is about profitable niches and tools to exploit them - this could be one of such tools.
